Our right to keep and bear arms was bestowed upon us at birth from God. So the answer to the question as it is written, is no. The second amendment protects our right to bear arms from being infringed on by the government.

I understand the intentions of the question, and fundamentally agree with those intentions. However we must be careful when answering these surveys that are published by the liberal media. We conservatives, intend for our response to mean one thing. The liberal spin doctors will twist those intentions and use them against us later.

Answering yes to the question as it's written means our rights were given to us by the government. Which means the government can take those rights away.

Never forget that we were born free men with certain inalienable rights. I'm just grateful that our forefathers had enough forethought to draft a document to protect our God given rights from the government that was to come.
