At least 92 Americans celebrated Independence Day probably for the last time. Next year they will join me and my new buddy Barack in a new tradition. Next year we will celebrate Dependence Day. It just seems more appropriate don't you think?

Bob Austin sent a bonus check up in smoke to the delight of every one at the party and crowds on and around the lake. He received a standing ovation again. Only one shell misfired this year and nearly took out Melissa Somers Mom, pay no attention to that nasty rumor circulating that Shane Somers paid Jamie to fire it at her.

Mindy Hiteshue sang the National Anthem at the close of the evening to rave revues, and if we can get it loaded to youtube I will post it here. From what I hear, (I missesd it) it would probably double the traffic on my blog.
