Charlie Krauthammer and The RR decide to part ways...The RR

Click here to read Charles Krauthammer's article in the Washington Post.

Allow me to dissect a couple of Charles comments.

Charlie: "Bill Buckley -- no Mike Castle he -- had a rule: Support the most conservative candidate who is electable."

The RR: Well even Bill Buckley couldn't abide by his own rule. He ran against Liberal Republican John Lindsey in the Republican primary for New York Mayor and only got 17% of the vote.
So much for the Buckley Rule.

Charlie: "Castle wasn't only electable. He was unbeatable. Why do you think Beau Biden, long groomed to inherit his father's seat, flinched from running? Because Castle, who had already won statewide races a dozen times, scared him off. Democrats had already given up on the race."

The RR: Well for the unbeatable force that CK describes him as, he sure is sitting at home pouting now. Did you know he has has taken calls from "O" and Joe, but hasn't had the courtesy to place the conciliation phone call that is customary in American politics?

I could go on about CK but let me just finish up by making a few comments which will be the rest of my answer to Charlie's article.
Sorry Charlie, The Tea Party Movement is not about a T-shirt or a flag or a meeting outside some Senator  or Congressman's office. It's not about the gathering of millions of Tea Partyers in DC. It's a spirit and desire to take the country back from the ever increasing slide into Socialism / Marxism. The sleeping giant has been awakened, and he's pissed .

The guys like Karl Rove and CK are squirming because they have been put in the place the true Conservatives (of which I am one) have been in for 22 years, since Reagan. What are they going to do? All the Tea Party candidates are winning and that is good for conservatism, but the Libbies like Rove and Charlie are now in the box they have had us in. What are they going to do, vote Democrat? I can't tell you how pissed I was to hear these same "pundips" tell me for 22 years how I had no choice but to vote for the Bush's and McCain's of the world.

Sorry Charlie, payback is hell ain't it?
