Independence Day Photo and Jakes Bed Wetting Charity

Here is the Independence Day photo taken at my house on the 4th of July. The young lady is Emily Raible. She is standing in for her husband SSGT Patrick Raible currently serving our country in Iraq. The men from left to right are:
Patrick Johnson LT US Navy
James S. Ray AE3 US Navy
Steven Hall MSGT US Army Reserves (Just back from Afghanistan)
Leo Rusk 3rd Class US Navy
Emily standing in for SSGT Patrick Raible
Jim Beardmore LT(jg) US Navy
Carl Williams SGT NCANG
Richard Sherrow SGT US Army
Ed Nayehalski Airforce A/2C Army SSGT
Robert D. Stevens US Army Reserve
Johnnie Hall CPL US Army (also known as CAPT. Spot)

These folks all served their country and preserved the right for the idiot below to say his peace.

As I was posting this Photo, a local talk show host was reading this email. It is the Jeff Katz show from 3 to 6pmEST. I wonder who Jake will vote for in November. Hmmm. Bet it won't be that POW John McClueless.

Read what "Jake" thinks about our troops

July 2008
Hey look Rabbi Katz, Oy vey. S o many of us are sick and tired of this same ole crybaby crapola concerning the precious brave troops in Iraq or Afghan.
Screw these troops. They are fighting a political power grab oil war and besides they were such losers they joined up because they do could nothing else.
What are we supposed to do? Feel sympathy for them? Please....
They didnt have to go fight for Bushs screwball war.
Again, we are sick to death of these crybaby troops who joined to for self interest glory reasons or because they are losers to be involved in this idiot war.
These troops get what they deserve and they are costing us taxpayers trillions. Dont cry for these idiots. They are protecting noone. They are seeking glory as losers. They should be working paying taxes instead of costing us bigtime. We hate these crybaby troops. We despise this phony sympathy they garner. We detest those who defend them or those stupid yellow ribbons.
Please..... Bring them all home. Put them to work and get them out of our wallets.
Screw all these whiny crybaby TROOPS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have accomplished nothing. Jake the Snake your pal
You can listen to Jeff online.

Mark's Rant,
I am proud of the men and women who protect and protected Jake's right of Freedom of Speech.
(Although I'm not sure that right covers bad grammar and misspellings.) You served our country, now let me serve you. I will place an open invitation for Jake to contact me and next year on Independence day Jake and I will climb onto the volleyball court in my back yard and settle this like men.

No, not playing volleyball..... One of us will punch the others daylights out.

Everybody will have to pay $5 to see the fight, and the proceeds will go to the winners charity.

Mine will go to the USO to take Care of the troops and Jake's will probably go to some bed wetting related charity.
Want to buy a ticket? Hot Dogs and Hamburgers included in the price.
Are you ready for Hussein?

Even though I am allegedly a flaming liberal left wing nut, I agree with Mark's comments about Jake. Liberals can support the troops without supporting the bad decision to send them to Iraq. And I don't have a problem with our troops and Marines looking for bin Laden in Afghanistan. I support the troops, but not some of the politicians. And I think it was reprehensible to send our military over to invade Iraq for oil. I would rather pay $6 or $8 a gallon for gas than have one Marine or soldier get wounded or killed over there fighting for oil. To me, that is part of supporting the troops--hoping that if they go in harm's way, it is only for the right reason. Bob

We have always heard that war is hell and it has been that and more during all the wars we have fought.

There are many folks who would say there really isn't a right reason to go to war, Bob.

During World War II we always thought we would win and everyone stateside supported our troops 100%There are people that still have that pride and love for our troops Jake should be forced into exile to live in one of The Middle Eastern countries and see how he feels. We have to absolutely love each and every troop that is in harm's way. And...we have to let our voices be heard from coast to coast about what we the people wants to see happen in this great country. Party lines have divided this country in so many ways. It's not the political party, stupid, it's the candidate. That is why we have ended up with a couple of guys that could be bookends on a mantle...and that's all they can be. Elect the right person for the job and quit arguing political party lines or we are doomed. Give up the party affiliations and vote for a leader and a visionary and don't care about whether he or she is a Democrat or Republican. We need to begin to do this at the local and state levels in each state. Know your candidates and throw out the politicians.

Hey Jake, how does it feel to have your words published for people to read? Those hateful words! Among other bad genes, you aren't narcissist are you Jake?

I want to be front row if you go to the volleyball court with Mark. It's people like you who will be sitting around when the Muslims come and carry you from your home. What? You think soldiers should save you? No way, you'd never associate with an American soldier, right?
